Sunny Nordmarken
Sunny
joined the MA program with a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Women
and Gender Studies from UC Davis. Sunny is interested in issues of non-normativity,
especially within
embodiment and relationships. Sunny investigates the experiences of love
of queer polyamorous triads in his thesis research.Words about the scholarship:
Sunny was thrilled and honored to receive the 2007
Jim Brogan Teaching Scholarship, which benefited his work in teaching
and his thesis research of love in queer polyamorous triads. Sunny served
as a teaching assistant for two semesters and plans to go on to become
a professor of sociology and sexuality.
